Iris M. | Cabral Bilodeau | |
Nevada City, CA. I'm a divorced mother of two, with four grandchildren. Have been living in Grass Valley, CA since 1977. I'm a substitute radio broadcaster at kvmr.org in Nevada City, CA. The two hour program, that I sub on, is called "Kanikapila" Hawaiian style. It's broadcasted on Sundays from 10am to noon, pacific time. Hobbies include photography and genealogy. I find it humorous that I didn't care much about history in school, but now I find myself to be a History buff, especially in regards to Hawaii and the Azores, Portugal; where my ancestors are from. Deceased. (6/9/50 to 8/31/02) I am sorry to see that Dwaine Chapdelaine is not with us any longer. He and I used to go crazy during our Square Dance sessions. We'd have such a fun time and laughed so much together. I wish I had gotten to know him better but what time we shared will always be special. (Pat Wolfe 7/21/08) |

Sweden. I went to Lewis & Clark College 1968-70, then studied in Sweden in the Scandinavian Seminar program in 1970-71. Decided I liked living in Sweden and after learning Swedish decided to move here in 1972. Married a Swedish guy who I am still married to after 35 years! and have 2 daughters, 24 and 18. Got a degree from the University of Stockholm in political science, history and english. Went on to get a masters degree in Journalism at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and worked as a journalist on several Swedish newspapers, then head of Information Dept for the City of Stockholm. After that, went to Microsoft to become Nordic PR and Community Affairs Manager 9 years. I was in charge of all PR for Microsoft in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland. Worked with Bill Gates when he yearly visited our Nordic countries, travelling with him and organizing PR events. Tired of the computer business and went to work for a startup web company as President in 2001. After a turbulent year, went on to work as EU Project Manager for 2 environmental projects, among them Save the North Sea, to minimize plastic materials in the North Sea, and another EU project to minimize pollution in the Baltic Sea. After 5 years, came over to Nordic Ecolabel to work with companies to improve their products and get more environmentally-sound products on the market, and am PR Head here since late 2006. My husband is an artist and we live on an island outside of Stockholm, Sweden. Love hiking, books, picking berries and gardening. My daughters study at the University of Stockholm and we have an Irish Setter who loves to take walks 3 hours a day! Life has been very good to me with a loving family, great work, friends and adorable, caring beautiful daughters (7/28/08) Confirmed for 50th |

Sagamore Hills , OH. Having moved from California to Wisconsin (1992) and then to Ohio (1996) with my husband Brian, I think I’m now settled for good in Sagamore Hills Ohio. Am living the single life with my cats and dog in a condo. Occasionally I still miss California, but this area is very close to our Cuyahoga Valley National Park. There are many hiking trails to explore and four distinct seasons that Ive grown to love. I'm still painting almost every day. My website is cathyclerkdully.com. I enjoy keeping up with friends via Facebook! This photo is a selfie from a Cavs game last fall. (3/14/18) |

Lisa L. | Cloyd Gossett | |
Salem, OR. (married to Jeff Gossett) To start off with, I married my high school sweetheart Jeff Gossett, after waiting four years for him to graduate from the Naval Academy. True to form I became a good Navy Wife and made 17 moves in 10 years. We lived all over the country in places like Idaho, Connecticut, Washington, Hawaii, and of course, California. We have one daughter, Rebecca, 32, who is married and a yoga instructor in Brisban, Australia. No grandkids yet. When she left home to move down under, she left her pets and her previous (Canadian) husband, who has become almost an adopted son. After Jeff left the Navy, we moved to Southern California where I got a BSA from University of Redlands. I have had jobs in aerospace, working with well-known sports figures at Upper Deck, and teaching Needlepoint. I am now retired and spend most of my time enjoying the great weather we have in Rancho San Diego (5/20/08). |

Clayton, NC I went to DeAnza for a wasted quarter and I was done with school!! I moved to Los Angeles to work for my dad in his liquor stores, leaving that job a year later when he sold them. I then went to work at Western Electric Co. at the suggestion of my former brother-in-law Jack Busby. I worked with him for 2 years and got caught up in the "big layoff" of '71. I moved to Spokane, Washington and fooled around in the used car business for the next 3 years. The gas shortage of '74 ended that career. I moved back to LA and found a job with GTE (telephone company), met and married my wife of 31 years (she puts up with a lot!!) and we moved to San Diego for 11 years. My job took us to Ft. Collins Colorado for 2 years working for GTE on contract with the University of Colorado. The contract was up and we landed in Sacramento, CA, where I managed the local US Govt. telephone system. That contract ran out in 1994 and GTE was going to send me to Detoit. I told them no, I was done traveling for them so I quit and started my own company, KAGE Communications, Inc. and ran it for 13 years. I closed the company this past October and am now semi-retired. Along the way, we had 3 boys (Bill, Mike, and Patrick) and a daughter (Jennifer). The boys all reside in the Sacramento area, but Patrick decided to join the US Army and is now stationed at Ft. Drum, New York. My daughter is living in North Carolina and is married with 2 of the cutest children in the world. My son Bill is also married and has given us another cutie-pie as well. We consider ourselves very lucky to have met each other and see our family grow. (6/17/08) |

Colorado Springs, CO. I have been happily married for over 37 years. A daughter was born in 1976, and she is currently earning her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. Our son came along in 1978, and he is currently a Senior Software Engineer for a start-up high tech company located in Superior, Colorado. A move to Colorado Springs in 1986 turned out to be a wonderful place to raise our family. We were fortunate to build a new home that we still reside in today. Besides my favorite roles as a WIFE and MOTHER, I paid my dues working for over 18 years in Human Resources primarily in the software Industry. As a Director of HR and champion of employee relations, I was relieved to put the corporate world behind me in 2003. After taking time off, I started a business out of my home, and then moved on to my current challenge of consulting on a part-time basis. I enjoy gardening, reading, golfing (I am still a wannabe). The newest addition to the family is a 4 month old Labradoodle puppy that is keeping me very busy. Life has treated me well, and I am especially grateful for my “better half”. Cheers to my Lynbrook Classmates of 1968! Enjoy the Reunion Celebration! Warmest regards, Charyl Moyaert (8/1/2008) |
